Tip of the day: plan ahead

Sundays might be a great day to relax, or catch up on chores around the house, but they are also a perfect day to perpare for a week of clean eating. We are now in the habit of cooking enough lean protein for the upcoming week. Today’s photo is of the batch of boneless/skinless chicken breasts, and lean pork we prepared. we will take some to eat for lunch, and when you get home after a long day its quick and easy to prepare a healthy meal.

    Since you asked for comments… the tip is a great one. In terms of added value, I always like to see a reipe, too, where you use the food in a tangible way. Do you whip up a stir fry? Do you reheat in the oven with veggies? Do you serve it in a meal-sized salad? Good luck and have fun 🙂

    • Great comment.. I think that one reason we use loads of chicken/pork is that we can pre-cook (usually on my big green egg.. personal preference) and then by changing cooking method and spice profile, we can have a seemingly larger menu in terms of flavor with the same basis ingredients. I will continue logging each days food, and will certainly include recipes if I think its something that is not obvious. Thanks for the tip!!
